Downtown Grand + Life is Beautiful Announce Lineup for Official Pool Party Concerts

Cementing itself as the preeminent host hotel of festival weekend, The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino and Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival announce three exclusive concerts during the official daytime, rooftop pool parties at Citrus Grand Pool Deck featuring live performances from Jonas Blue, Omar Apollo, Dashboard Confessional, MUNA, The Regrettes, shallou, Phantoms, Felix Cartal, and Cub Sport September 20-22. Festivalgoers interested in attending the FREE daytime celebrations presented by Entercom can RSVP here.

Along with a live broadcast from AMP Radio, multi-platinum producer Jonas Blue will ignite the Citrus stage on Friday followed by the psychedelically soulful singer-songwriter Omar Apollo, who will be performing hits from his successive EP’s “Stereo” (2018) and “Friends” (2019).

Led by outspoken frontwoman, Lydia Night, the weekend heats up Saturday with LA rock sensation The Regrettes, who will give fans a preview of their Life is Beautiful performance happening later that night. Presented by KROQ-FM, fans will also experience the ride-or-die sounds of MUNA, and an exclusive set from Dashboard Confessional who will perform songs from their recent triple EP release “Now Is Then Is Now,” a collection of notable past works re-recorded and reimagined by lead singer Chris Carrabba.

Paired with a unique on-site broadcast from Channel Q, the pool party concerts crescendo on Sunday with indie-electronic vibes from shallou, a synth-soul performance from alt-pop band Cub Sport, a live electronic mashup from LA-based duo Phantoms, and an electro house set from DJ/producer Felix Cartal.

“What started as a single-artist activation in 2017 has grown into a three-day celebration featuring nine artists and a live radio broadcast; we are thrilled to partner with Life is Beautiful as the official host hotel for the third straight year and welcome festivalgoers to our exclusive pool parties to kick off each day,” said Downtown Grand Hotel General Manager Kevin Glass. "Much like the Downtown Grand, Life is Beautiful has a long-standing commitment to local music and arts, which helped to define this organic collaboration. The Life is Beautiful experience is all about creating moments that will live with guests well beyond the weekend and these three concerts, paired with our total property experience, aim to do just that.”
