Just days after an Emmy Award-winning late night TV host launched his first-ever comedy club on the Strip (which has nothing to do with this but we needed your attention) comes the newest comedy showroom to hit Downtown Las Vegas. Today the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino is apprehensive to announce The Spare Room featuring live comedy weekly with Don Barnhart’s Hypnomania and Delirious Stand-up Comedy. The Spare Room (Latin for "wasn't being used") represents the first-ever showroom in the near 6-year history of the property and features two shows so funny you’ll lose your mind every Wednesday-Sunday at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets on sale now!
“Stumbled in by accident thinking it was my room. Nobody stopped me, would recommend.”
- Reggie S. on Yelp
Located on the ground floor of the hotel near the Art Bar, the new showroom will provide an intimate comedic experience for locals and tourists alike. Complete with a full bar and maximum seating of less than 100, each ticket aims to offer guests the best seat in the house and a laughably casual environment perfect for any night out in Downtown Las Vegas.
Brought to you by Trending Vegas, the team that helped launch Strip favorite "All Shook Up" at V Theater, Hypnomania and Delirious gives showgoers the option to either laugh *with* their friends or *at* them depending on the time slot. Long-time comedian and hypnotist Don Barnhart welcomes guests to the stage with his interactive, and improvisational hypnosis show "Hypnomania" at 7 p.m. while "Delirious" packs downtown's best punchlines through traditional stand-up comedy and a rotating lineup of the best comedians on tour at 9 p.m.
“This show was jaw dropping, unbelievable, shocking, mysterious. The talents of the performers are remarkable. This show is a must see when you are in Las Vegas.”

"Live comedy plus Downtown Las Vegas just makes sense," said John Culetsu VP and Managing Director of Downtown Grand. "As we move towards the unveiling of our new tower in 2020, we are continuing to look for new ways to engage our current guests, attract new visitors, and expand our entertainment offerings and experiences. Launching the first-ever showroom on the property is an important first step in that process and we look forward to adding more and more content in the coming months.”
