2019 Miss Earth USA to be Crowned in Las Vegas at the South Point Hotel & Casino June 30
More than 100 “beauties for a cause” will descend on Las Vegas as Miss Earth USA, part of the global competition that empowers women ages 5-59 through community leadership, eco-tourism and environmental education, is set to be crowned for the first time in Las Vegas at the South Point Hotel & Casino June 27-June 30. Tickets for the multi-day pageant are on sale to the public at www.southpointcasino.com/entertainment/showroom.
With more than 100 state delegates vying for the title in Miss Earth USA, this pageant is the official preliminary to the world-wide title of Miss Earth. Celebrated as one of the top three international pageants and known as the planet’s most relevant pageant, Miss Earth draws nearly 100 national representatives from six continents each year to compete at international festivities in the Philippines. Reigning Miss Earth Nguyen Phuong Khanh of Vietnam and Miss Earth USA Yashvi Aware of Maryland will attend activities in Las Vegas. USA delegates competing for the national title are selected based on leadership and communication skills, as well as pageant and modeling experience. State and regional representatives dedicate their year to serving their communities. This upcoming year, special projects are planned, including a Puerto Rico mission trip and activities at New York Fashion Week.
The mission of Miss Earth USA is to provide a platform for America's women to be a voice for environmental responsibility, while featuring these impressive and driven young women in fashion, media and leadership opportunities.
The Miss Earth USA organization is recognized as a charitable organization with 501(c)3 status. During national activities in Las Vegas, delegates will conduct a clean up in partnership with Garbo Grabber and The Clean Earth Project.
